I was very happy to find these replacement door straps for our Jeep. The straps appeared to be strong and had several options to be able to choose the right length. Unfortunately, the stitching is very weak. When opening the door on an incline even while holding onto the door most of the way, the stitching gave out. I tried sewing it by hand and the stitching gave out in a different place with the door open in a small breeze. We are very disappointed. I have now tried to reinforce the stitching on the second unused strap in the two places where the first one came apart and hope for the best.
