Ken, these bumper bolts will 100 percent rust if you damage the plating when installing. I sell them in steel like everyone else, They are not solid black after a 32nd of an inch under the plating. When I install hardware that takes a lot of torque to tighten, I hand ratchet install and even paint the center with a paint brush and a rattle can..We guarantee all our products for life.
