This Torx Screw Was 1 ¼ inch long only on the TJ model Jeep Wranglers from 1997 to 2004.

You can use this screw for the Tail Gate hinge where it mounts on your Jeep Wrangler Quarter Panel and where it mounts to the Tail Gate.

NOTE: This longer jeep Wrangler Tail Gate screw can also be used for adding accessories to your Jeeps windshield hinges and door hinges since they are longer then regular torx screws for these areas.

These Screws Will Work On All TJ Jeep Wrangler years 1997,1998,1999,2000,2001,2002,2003 and 2004.

Notice this style of OEM torx screw has no threads on the end of the screw. The reason is so you don’t damage the threads when pushing through the Jeeps hinges or body panels. The ends are designed to make them fit without striping when alignment is slightly off.
